ElderCare Edmonton relies on a wide range of volunteer contributors. There is something for every skill level and/or interest.
Due to the current COVID pandemic, ElderCare will not have any in-person volunteer opportunities available for the protection of our volunteers, clients and the public.
ElderCare Edmonton is governed by a board of directors to provide direction, strategic planning and ensure appropriate governance. The board meets once per month in the evening.
Assist in the development of content for multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. We’re seeking an individual that can develop and promote our online presence.
ElderCare Edmonton is a non-profit, therefore community grants and fundraising are integral to our organization. The ideal volunteer would assist in developing and writing grant proposals to grant-making organizations, assemble and submit grant requests, establish and maintain personal contact and relationships with grant contacts and conduct grant research.
Our administrative office requires administrative support to assist with general office duties.
ElderCare Edmonton relies on the funding received when we volunteer for specific fundraising events in the community. If you’re able to volunteer for our bingos and casinos, this is a once a year volunteer commitment to ensure optimal community funding.
Our programs offer a variety of entertainment and social events. If you can play an instrument, sing, or otherwise entertain, one or all our locations would be excited to host you.
